Japan relaxes Travel Advice & Warning in North, East

 

The Government of Japan has decided to relax the Travel Advice & Warning in the North and East as mentioned below:

To the Eastern Province: from a Level of “Recommendation to consider whether or not to travel” to a Level of “Travel caution” which advises Japanese nationals to stay alert to the security situation and take necessary precautions.

To the areas of the Northern Province (Vavuniya City, Mannar City and stretch of A9 road between Irattaperiyakulam and Vavuniya, A14 road from Medawachchiya to Talaimannar, A30 road from Paraiyanlankulam to Vavuniya): from a level of “Recommendation to defer all travel” to a level of “Recommendation to consider whether or not to travel.”
