There is
growing
interest
from UK
companies
in doing
business
in Sri
Lanka,
said
Janet
Ford,
Head of
Trade &
Investment
of the
British
High
Commission.
With the
end of
the
conflict
there is
substantial
potential
for Sri
Lankan
companies
to
attract
partners
from the
UK -
particularly
in the
ICT
sector,
she
further
noted.
Ford
made
these
comments
after
the
successful
completion
of
Technology
World

held in
Coventry,
UK on
the
23-24
November
where
six Sri
Lankan
ICT
companies
attended.

2009 is
the UK’s

that
“this
event
allows
Sri
Lankan

to meet
with a
large
number
of UK

that are
interested
in
collaborating
in
innovation

expanding
their
businesses

most
innovative
ICT

the
British
High
Commission
further
noted.
The

partnership
opportunities.
It
brings
together
UK and
non-UK

the
globe to
