rose 1.7
percent
to
3,188.82,
for the
measure
of 231
companies
on the
Colombo
Stock
Exchange
today
(Dec
18).
CSE
which is
the
world’s
second-best
performer
this
year,
rose to
a record
as the
end of
the
terrorism
drove
economic
expansion
to the
fastest
pace
this
year,
reports
Bloomberg.
Gross
domestic
product
rose 4.2
percent
in the
three
months
ended
Sept. 30
from a
year
earlier
after
gaining
2.1
percent
in the
previous
quarter,
the
statistics
department
said in
Colombo
earlier
today,
reported
Bloomberg.
