The Orugodawatte flyover was opened by President Mahinda Rajapaksa yesterday (20).

President Rajapaksa who was on an observation visit to Orugodawatta flyover bridge instructed the Highways Ministry officials to allow the public to use the flyover from yesterday morning.

The flyover is 521 meters long and 17.4 meters wide. The government has spent Rs.550 million in this regard. The flyover comprises of two lanes.
