Jet Airways plans more flights to Colombo

Indian private air-carrier, Jet Airways, plans to enhance the frequency of its flights to Colombo, over the next six months, a Jet Airways official said.

The airline presently operates one daily flight between Chennai and Colombo.

"We plan to launch a few more services to Colombo from Indian cities over the next six-months," said the official.

There is a huge potential on the sector which needs to be tapped, the official said, adding that the airline expects a good passenger demand once these services are commenced, the Hindustan Times reported.
