Aptech to
invest in Sri Lanka |

An
Indian
IT
education
company,
Aptech
is
exploring
opportunities
to
venture
business
in Sri
Lanka,
one of
its top
company
officials
said.
“A team
from
Aptech
is going
to Sri
Lanka.
We have
done a
study on
the
market
there
and the
opportunity
is
clearly
there,”
said Mr
Ninad
Karpe,
Managing
Director
and CEO,
Aptech,
reported
the
Hindu.
“Sri
Lankans,
like
Indians
have
service
mindsets
and are
eager to
make it
big in
the IT
landscape,”
said Mr
Karpe.
The
company
intends
to take
its IT
education
and
animation
business
to Sri
Lanka.
Aptech
recently
strengthened
its
animation
portfolio
by
acquiring
Maya
Academy
of
Advanced
Cinematics
(MAAC)
for an
overall
consideration
of
Indian
Rs.76
crore.
It
intends
to take
the MAAC
brand as
well to
Sri
Lanka,
reported
the
Hindu.
