Sri Lanka-born CIMA's Global President in town

 

Aubrey Joachim, FCMA the first CIMA Global President outside the UK and Ireland in the 91 year history of the institution will make his official visit to Sri Lanka next week.

During his visit he will meet with high ranking officials, Diplomats and corporates to discuss mutually beneficial business modules and also strengthen working relationships with CIMA.

He will also be the Chief Guest at the CIMA convocation on 2 and 3 March for CIMA Passed Finalists and new members respectively.

He is the keynote speaker of the LBO-LBR CFO Forum hosted in collaboration with CIMA.

He will share his invaluable views on 'The emergence of finance as a key to business transformation in light of the global downturn' at this forum.

He is an old boy of two leading schools in Sri Lanka - St. Joseph's and St. Peter's, and will be the guest of honour at this year's Battle of the Saints. Born in Sri Lanka, Aubrey Joachim is now an Australian citizen.

Having commenced his working career at Unilever Sri Lanka in 1973, Aubrey has enjoyed a successful international career in finance and accounting with leading employers across a range of sectors.

In 2005 Aubrey founded his own boutique consultancy running strategic financial and management accounting workshops, courses and conferences across the world.

He is now a management coach, mentor and management training provider, contracted to leading global conferences, seminar companies and professional bodies, to provide training programmes across Australia, New Zealand, South East Asia, South Asia, The Middle East and Southern Africa.
