CID arrests top LTTE member

 
The Criminal Investigation Division (CID) has arrested a high ranking member of the LTTE's international financial wing, Police Media Spokesman SP Prishantha Jayakody said.

The Government Information Department quoting the Police Media Spokesman said the member has been arrested while hiding in a house at Pallidora road in Dehiwela.

The CID arrested the suspect who arrived in the country from Geneva.

According to CID sources, the suspect was here to look into the business enterprises owned by the vanquished LTTE.
