Immigration & emigration data digitalized

 
The Department of Immigration and Emigration has opened an electronic database for passport documents.

According to a statement issued by the Prime Minister's Office said that 8 million documents will be entered into the database to enable fast access in future. The documents of past 12 years are to be made digital.
