Govt targets 5000 more French tourists

 
The Government’s target is to attract more than 5000 additional French tourists to the country before the end of the year, said Minister of Export Development and International Trade, Prof. G.L.Peiris.

The Minister said they were now emphasizing particularly on specialized tourism such as eco-tourism and health tourism. People are coming in large numbers from Western countries and tourism provides acceptable means of ensuring a proper distribution of resources within the country, news.lk reported.
