Passport office in North soon

 

A passport office will be opened soon in Jaffna for the benefit of the people of Northern Province, Controller General of Immigration and Emigration, P. B. Abeykoon said.

The Department of Immigration and Emigration has already opened passport offices in Anuradhapura and Matara.

In an interview with Dinamina, a Sinhala daily, Controller General of Immigration and Emigration said the government has taken measures to improve the standard of airport services as the number of tourists arriving in the country is increasing rapidly.
