Colombo Stock Exchange reached an all time high yesterday (19 April) crossing the 4000 mark.

The All Share Price Index closed at 4,015.36, 1.22% above Friday's close at 3,966.87 while Milanka Index gained 1.26% to close at 4,576.10.

The turnover ended at Rs.1.75 billion with mostly domestic purchases contributing at Rs. 1.64 billion. Foreign purchases were at Rs.113 million. Over 114,00 shares exchanged hands.

The leisure sector gained the most with over 4% with contributions from trading of 13.5 shares.
