The second Court Martial that resumed its sittings Tuesday (20) morning to hear charges against General Sarath Fonseka is to receive written submissions from both defence counsel and prosecution by 30th April before its next sitting on 4th May 2010 at 2.30 p.m.

These written submissions are to be received by Rear Admiral W.W.J.S. Fernando who serves as Judge Advocate.

The second Court Martial probing into four charges against General Fonseka regarding military procurements under the section, ‘disgraceful conduct’ in the Army Act comprises Major General Milinda Peiris (President), Major General S.W.L. Daulagala and Major General M. Hathurusinghe.
