President facilitates Tendulkar’s treatment

Mumbai skipper Sachin Tendulkar arrived in Colombo on Friday (23 April) for specialized medical treatment from Sri Lankan President Mahinda Rajapaksa’s personal physician, Dr Eleyantha Lindsay White for the finger injury he received at the IPL semi-finals.

On the request of President Rajapaksa, Dr White treated the world’s highest run-getter at the Katunayke International Airport so that Tendulkar could fly back to Mumbai in time for the Sunday’s IPL final against Chennai Super Kings.
