Indian High Commissioner calls on PM

 
The High Commissioner of India, Shri Ashok K. Kantha, paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister D. M. Jayaratne, today (29 April).

During the meeting, the High Commissioner noted the close and friendly relations between India and Sri Lanka and discussed ways and means of further strengthening these relations, the Indian High Commission stated.

A number of other matters of bilateral interest were also discussed including multilateral relations at the SAARC Summit.
