New bus service to North

 
The Government has taken action to operate a new bus service between Sidambarapuram and Vavuniya via Alagalla, as a measure to improve transport facilities in the North under Uthuru Wasanthaya programme.

This will benefit the people in the Vavuniya District who experienced transportation difficulties due to LTTE terrorism.

Transport facilities are now available to the people living in Aaittakulam, Sidambarapuram, Alagalla, Theeruwegama and Kalukunnam-maduwa villages, under this new bus operation.
