Peliyagoda Fish Market Complex nearing completion |

The construction work on the modern central fish market complex at Peliyagoda which is being built under the guidance of President Rajapaksa is nearing completion.
This would enable the people to buy quality fish conveniently. The central complex is being built at the cost of 1700 million rupees. It is due to be declared open in June, said Minister of Fisheries Rajitha Senaratne who inspected the construction work on the market complex recently.
The Minister pointed out that this complex which would be the largest in Asia would help handle the fish harvest from the North and East as well.
