More ex LTTE child soldiers released

 
More than 400 former LTTE cadres including 198 child soldiers were released to their families yesterday (May 18).

Among the released child soldiers were 189 former LTTE cadres who were being educated at the Hindu College, Ratmalana.

At the end of the war against terrorism last year, more than 11,000 ex- LTTE combatants have been sent to rehabilitation camps. The ex-combatants received education and vocational training at the rehabilitation centers.
