Another massive housing project of 700 houses, in addition to the Ipalogama Ranaviru Housing Project, has been launched on a concept of President Mahinda Rajapaksa.

The housing project was launched last March, with the contribution of the ‘Together for All’ Fund.

Volunteers from the Army, Navy and the Air-force are engaged in the construction work.

The aim of the programme is to assist the service personnel who own land but lack economic strength to build a house.

The Defence Ministry’s goal is to provide shelter for all war heroes who contributed their might on behalf of the motherland.
