Vice Premier of the State Council of China to visit SL

 
Vice Premier of the State Council of the People’s Republic of China, Zhang Dejiang, is scheduled to undertake an official visit to Sri Lanka from the 10th to 12th June 2010, the Ministry of External Affairs said.

Vice Premier Dejiang was an alternate member of the 14th CPC Central Committee and a member of the 15th CPC Central Committee. He was also a member of the Politburo of the 16th CPC Central Committee and Secretary of the CPC Guangdong Provincial Party Committee. He is currently a member of the Politburo of the 17th CPC Central Committee as well as the Vice – Premier of the State Council.

During his visit, he will call on President Mahinda Rajapaksa, Prime Minister D.M Jayaratne and other officials. The delegation from China will consist of 30 members.
