President leaves for India

 

President Mahinda Rajapaksa left for India today (08 June) for a three day official visit.

The President will hold bilateral talks with Indian President Prathibha Patel, Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh and other senior officials.

Reconstruction and reconciliation, economic partnership, resettlement and defence will be on the agenda for discussions.
