Fiji appoints new Sri Lankan judges

 

Two new Sri Lankan judges were sworn in at Government House in Suva, Thursday (10 June) by President of Fiji, Ratu Epeli Nailatikau.

Justice Sithambarampillai Thurairaja and Justice Nawange Don Peiyantha Nawan, both from Sri Lanka, took their oath of office in the presence of senior Fiji government officials.

Attorney General Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum, Solicitor-General Christopher Pryde and Chief Registrar Ana Rokomokoti were present at the ceremony, AHN reported.
