Civil Admin to resettle IDPs in Jaffna HSZs

 
Permission has been granted by the Defence authorities to the civil administration in the North to resettle displaced civilians in the High Security Zones of Jaffna.

The resettlement soon to be commenced will be carried out in several stages. The civil authorities will take prompt measures to provide facilities to continue the resettled IDPs with their livelihoods, said K. Ganesh, Jaffna Government Agent.

The HSZ areas include Palaly, Madagal, Chankanai, Ariyalai, Colombuthurai, Tanankilappu, Nagarkovil and Tellippalai in Jaffna district.
