This is sequel to an incident in which Dr Mervyn Silva is alleged to have tied a Samurdhi officer to a tree for failing to be present at a Dengue Prevention campaign in Kelaniya a few days ago.

The SLFP will hold the disciplinary inquiry against the former Deputy Minister according to the procedure laid down in its constitution.
