The streets were colorfully decorated with entertainment by popular bands and cultural performances creating a total carnival atmosphere in addition to an array of international spice cuisine with 16 foreign chefs in action, stated the Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority.
Food stalls were stemmed with foreign tourists and Sri Lankans queuing up at the stalls to savor delectable varieties of cuisine from countries such as India, South Africa, Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippine, Italy, Vietnam, Egypt, Singapore, China, Korea, and Sri Lanka.
Another highlight of the event was the live demonstrations by the master chef Kollu and the Spice Crab Cooking Competition.
