The E-Health Care programme is to be introduced to create a productive health service in the Commonwealth countries. The new programme will be introduced as an initiative to increase investment for the health sector under the programme.

Dialogue in this regard is organized by the Commonwealth Secretariat. The Minister of Health Maithripala Sirisena will chair the meeting.

It was decided at the Forum of Health Ministers held in Kenya in 2008, to increase investment for the health sector.
