The future ahead is a fortunate one for all Sri Lankans, stated Secretary to the President, Lalith Weeratunga referring to the President's assumption of the second term in office.

He made this statement addressing the staff of the Presidential Secretariat today (23).

The responsibility of the staff is to act as a role model to the entire state sector, he said adding, "The tasks carried out at the Secretariat should be of high standard".

The duty of the staff is to take forward the vision of the President, securing his fame and respect that he had already achieved, the Secretary stated.

Mr. Weeratunga requested the staff to work efficiently to realize the goals of Mahinda Chintana.
