UNHCR donates vehicles to ease resettlement

 
The UNHCR donated seven vehicles to assist resettlement activates in the North.

These vehicles are for the use of the two District Secretaries and five Divisional Secretaries in Kilinochchi & Mullative Districts.

They were ceremonially handed over to Minister of Economic Development, Basil Rajapaksa and Chairman of the Presidential Task Force for Resettlement, Development and Security in the Northern Province at the Presidential Secretariat yesterday (Dec. 01).

Mr. Neil Buhne UNDP Resident Representative in Sri Lanka, Ms. Jennifer Pagonis, Deputy Representative and Mr. Laurent Raguin, Senior Programme officer of UNHCR, Mr. S.B.
