Pak, Lanka trade in services sector

Pakistan and Sri Lanka are working to expand bilateral trade to services sector, said Mr. DW Jinadasa, Consul General of Sri Lanka in Karachi.

The trade in both countries is confined to goods and it needs to spread to services sector, the Sri Lankan envoy said during an inter-active session with members of Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI).

Free Trade Agreement (FTA) has been signed between the two countries. However, more work is required on both sides to fully implement this very important agreement, KCCI leadership said and the Consul General of Sri Lanka in Karachi also agreed with them, reported Pakistan Observer.
