The Minister of Mass Media and Information Keheliya Rambukwella emphasized that the Government will take all necessary measures to inquire into the allegations regarding the security situation in the Jaffna Peninsula.

He made this statement during the Cabinet press briefing at the Department of Information today (06) in response to a question posed by a journalist.

The Minister further said the Government will take the responsibility in ensuring the safety and well-being of the civilians in Jaffna.
