Bids flow at treasury bill auction

 
The weekly Treasury bill auction of the Central Bank was held yesterday (Jan. 26) and it was oversubscribed with bids amounting to Rs. 22,347 million being received.

It was decided to accept Rs. 13,282 million from the auction, the Central Bank stated.

The 3 month rate at the weekly Treasury bill auction held yesterday remained flat as last weeks 7.01%.

However the 6 month rate increased marginally to stand at 7.10% from last weeks 7.09% while the one year rate too edged up by 2 basis points to reach 7.33%.
