Navy’s Fast Passenger Vessel A-543 commenced touring for Whale Watching on January 30th.
The inauguration ceremony of the Sri Lanka Navy’s Fast Passenger Vessel A-543 for whale watching for the public was held at the Port of Galle.
A-543 is scheduled to set sail four times per week for whale watching with tourists on board. It will provide tours of 03 to 06 hours as per the demand of the participants and the rates will be displayed in Sri Lanka Navy’s web. The tours are open for both local and foreign tourists.
During this season A-543 will be sailing in the Galle-Mirrissa sea area and according to the weather condition at sea and monsoonal conditions, it is scheduled to sail in the sea area between Colombo-Kalpitiya and Trincomalee areas.
