The Colombo Magistrate Court yesterday directed the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) to seek advice from the Attorney General with regard to the action to be taken against two former leaders of the defeated terrorist group LTTE.
Accordingly, the CID will seek the Attorney General's advice on the action to be taken on LTTE's former media spokesperson Daya Master and interpreter George Master, who are currently released on bail.
Colombo Chief Magistrate, Rashmi Singappuli had asked the CID to inform court of the Attorney General's advice.
The CID had informed court that all the investigation reports on Daya Master and George Master have been presented to the Attorney General for advice.
The case is to be taken up again on February 21.
