Treasury bill auction oversubscribed

 
The weekly Treasury bill auction of the Central Bank was held yesterday (Feb. 09) and it was oversubscribed with bids amounting to Rs. 33,123 million being received.

It was decided to accept Rs. 13,523 million from the auction, the Central Bank stated.

The 6 month rate and the yearly rate stood flat at 7.09% and 7.33% respectively, same as the last week rates.

The 3 month rate of the Treasury bills came down by a basis point to stand at 6.99% from last weeks 7%, at the weekly primary auction.
