Steps to boost education

 
The Education Ministry will take immediate action to recruit new qualified principals to National Schools which do not have principals.

According to the Education Ministry, there are 105 National Schools out of 340 in Sri Lanka which do not have principals in permanent positions.

The Ministry has also taken action to recruit 700 fine arts teachers as there is a shortage of teachers for Art, Drama and Theatre. They will be provided with three months training.
