Brazilian Foreign Minister arrives

 

The Brazilian Minister of External Relations Antonio Patriota accompanied by a delegation of senior officials arrived in Sri Lanka on Saturday for a three-day official visit.

The Brazilian delegation is in the country at the invitation of Minister of External Affairs, Prof. G.L. Peiris to engage in bilateral discussions between the two countries.

During his visit Minister Patriota is expected to call on President Mahinda Rajapaksa.

The visiting delegation will also interact with the leaders of trade and business communities of Sri Lanka.

Brazil in recent times has become one of the world's biggest emerging markets along with China and India.
