Sri Lankans not affected

 
The Sri Lankan Embassy in Japan has informed that as of now the Mission has not received any information regarding Sri Lankan nationals being affected as a direct result of the earthquake in Japan.

The Mission is in close contact with the Sri Lankan Buddhist temples, places of other religious worship, the Consuls, and Sri Lankan community leaders to ascertain the wellbeing of Sri Lankan nationals living in Japan.

The Ministry of External Affairs and the Sri Lanka Embassy in Japan are closely monitoring the situation.
