President casts his vote

 

President Mahinda Rajapaksa cast his vote at the Medamulana, D. A. Rajapaksa Vidyalaya, Hambantota this morning.

Voting for Local Government elections 2011 began at 7am which will continue till 4pm today.

This is the first Local Government elections to be held in post-conflict Sri Lanka.
