The weekly Treasury bill auction of the Central Bank was held yesterday (Mar. 16) and it was oversubscribed with bids amounting to Rs. 22,084million.

It was decided to accept Rs.8,909 million from the auction, the Central Bank stated.

The 6 month rate and the yearly rate stood at 7.05% and 7.33% respectively.

The 3 month rate of the Treasury bills stood at 6.97, same as the last week rates.
