Automobile skills development in rural areas |

Ideal Motors entered into a strategic partnership with the Automobile Association (AA) of Ceylon to develop automobile skills in the rural areas under a Rs.20 million project.
This project will be implemented to develop automobile skills among the rural population in line with present trends.
Both entities have entered into a strategic partnership agreement at a function held to mark the 107th anniversary of the Automobile Association (AA) of Ceylon.
Under this agreement the Automobile Association would assist Ideal Motors to arrange local training in selected areas on ‘Smart Tester’ and ‘Diagnostic Tools’ introduced by Mahindra group of India of which the Ideal Motors is the agent in Sri Lanka.
Further, Automobile Association members would be qualified to be dealers for Ideal Motors depending on the capacity and vacancies available.
Under the second phase of this project the Automobile Association would embark on establishing a fully fledged training center in the island with the assistance of Mahindra and Mahindra India.
