The Central Department of Animal Production and Health opened its 17th Veterinary Investigation Center at Thampalahamam in Trincomalee recently, at a cost of Rupees 10 Million.

The newly established Veterinary Investigation Center is equipped with all modern facilities and latest technological expertise and is expected to provide a full range of disease diagnostic and control services to livestock farmers of Trincomalee District.
