The weekly Treasury bill auction of the Central Bank was held yesterday (April 27) and it was oversubscribed with bids amounting to 19,386 million being received.

It was decided to accept Rs. 10,203 million from the auction, the Central Bank stated.

The 3 month rate at the weekly Treasury bill auction held yesterday increased marginally to 7.04% from last weeks 7.03%.

The 6 month rate also increased by 7.14% from last weeks 7.11% while the one year rate too increased by 7.34%.
