Gurunagar fishnet factory to be developed

 

With financial assistance of India, the government has taken action to develop Jaffna - Gurunagar Fishnet Factory which was damaged during the conflict.

On a proposal made by the Ministry of Traditional Industries and Small Enterprise Development, Cabinet approval was granted to develop and expand this Fishnet Factory at Gurunagar in Jaffna.

A sum of Rs.152 million will be obtained from the government of India under its small Grant Assistance Program to develop this factory.
