Omanthai railway opens this month

 
The railway from Thandikulam to Omanthai and Omanthai railway station will be reopened on 27th of this month.

The 14km long rail track was repaired by the railway department under the Uthuru Wasanthaya programme.

The Omanthai railway station was reconstructed with the assistance of Singer (Sri Lanka) Pvt ltd.
