This programme which is being jointly implemented by the Ministries of Resettlement and the Construction, Engineering Services, Housing, and Common Amenities will extend a loan of two hundred thousand rupees to every house recipient.

The programme is to be implemented in every district in the North and will commence from the Mullaitivu and Kilinochchi districts.

This programme is a part of the national Jana Sevana scheme which is to be expanded in Jaffna, Mannar and Vavuniya districts, based on the success of the programmes carried out in the Mullaitivu and Kilinochchi districts.
