SriLankan to commence direct flights to Moscow

 

SriLankan Airlines plans to commence air link between Colombo and Moscow.
The flights to Moscow are to commence on September 15. Two flights are scheduled to Moscow via Dubai each week.

The flights will be available on each Thursday and Saturday.

SriLankan Chairman Nishantha Wickremasinghe expressed pleasure for being able to start direct flights to Moscow.

Moscow is the 52nd destination of the SriLankan flights.

Meanwhile, Aeroflot, Russia's national carrier is scheduled to resume flights to Colombo from November 1, 2011.
