Angulana gets Multi storied Housing Scheme

 
Approval was given by the Cabinet of Ministers yesterday (May 13) for the construction of a Multi storied Housing Scheme consisting of 384 Housing Units at Angulana in Moratuwa.

The families affected by sea erosion in the Moratuwa coastal belt will be settled in this housing complex upon its completion.

Initial expenditure for the construction of this scheme, which will also be a part of the Jana Sevana National Housing Programme, will be met from the budgetary provisions made available for 2011.

Under the Jana Sevana National Housing Programme which is carried out by the Ministry of Construction, Engineering Services, Housing and Common Amenities it is planned to construct One Million housing units throughout the island.
