Czechoslovakia has pledged support for the development of the North Eastern transmission network.
Czechoslovakian Foreign Affairs Deputy Minister Thomas Dub pledged a loan of 30 million euros for the development of the north eastern transmission network at a discussion which was held on 3rd June at the Ministry of Power and Energy with Minister Patali Champika Ranawaka.
According to the project new grid sub stations will be set up in Monaragala, Polonnaruwa and Paththirippuwa.
