The retired Supreme Court judge Mahanama Thilakarathna handed over the report to the President at Temple Trees.

The FTZ workers and the police clashed on May 30 when the workers protested against the proposed private sector pension scheme. A FTZ employee who was severely during the clash injured later succumbed to his injuries.

The President appointed a one-man committee led by retired Supreme Court judge Mahanama Thilakarathna to probe the incident and prepare a report.
