The Central Bank of Sri Lanka has organized a ten day summit of representatives of state and private sector employees in Colombo next month.

The summit, named as Asia Pacific Regional Summit for State and Private Sector Employees will be held in Colombo from 5th of July.

The summit aims at promoting large scale joint investments of the public and private sectors and organizers expect it to yield large scale investment opportunities in the country.

Representatives from state and private sector from 17 countries in the Asia Pacific region will participate in this summit.

Representatives from Japan, India and several European countries are to participate in the summit as monitors.
